Game 1 Summary :
The Liverpool Trojans were looking to extend their 10 game unbeaten streak with a double header against their nearest rivals, the Manchester Eagles.
Despite taking an early lead, Manchester handed it right back to the Trojans, giving up 5 walks and 1 hit batter ending the inning 2 behind. Martin Godsall struck the side out in order to boost the confidence of the Trojans hitters who seemed to be building a commanding lead by the end of the second inning
Not everything was going the Trojans way however, when a series of errors allowed the baserunner to score. This was quickly followed by a 2 run homer by Arrevillages, bringing the Eagles to within 2.
Manchester pulled another run back in the top of the fifth, then backed it up with some solid infield play from ex Trojans shortstop, Rob Denham.
Liverpool's nightmare continued as they threw the ball around the infield, allowing the tying run to score. The Eagles ended the sixth one run ahead, but as so many times before this season, the Trojans know how to battle back. A bases loaded walk followed RBI's for Brandon Deal (2) and Evgeni Zapryanov gave the Trojans a comfortable lead to take into the final inning.
Manchester's single run reply wasn't enough to stop the Trojans winning streak moving to 11 games.

Game 2 Summary :
Liverpool got off to a shaky start in the second game of the double header, giving up 4 runs in the first inning. Dave Gary, battling with his control, was eventually replaced by Andy Martinez in a damage limitation exercise by the Trojans.
Martinez settled into the game early and set the table for another Trojans fight back. Mike Waisome's 2 run homer in the second gave the Trojans the lead. Liverpool never looked back from this point on and went on to build a commanding lead.
Manchester Eagles fielded the ball well in patches and deserved better fortune however, a series of bad hops, wild pitches and pass balls saw the Trojans lead increase.
The game was ended on the slaughter rule in the fifth inning much to the relief of the Eagles catcher, Eaton, who was having a rough ride catching his second consecutive game.
